We’re lucky enough to live and work by the sea in North Devon. If you’ve been here you’ll know its wild and rugged coastline. The landscape here influences many of our designs and remains a big inspiration for our team of artists and craftspeople.
This week we’re celebrating all things coastal.
Travis has been having a great time this summer. After a hard day lounging around Letterfest HQ, a good hole digging session with your friends, followed by a refreshing swim is just what you need. If you’re a labradoodle in this part of the world, this is how you roll. He’s one lucky dog.
This view, from our village of Instow looking across the estuary to Appledore, is something we never tire of. Every evening we’re treated to a lovely sunset here (usually with a local Hockings ice cream in hand..). We ♥ the beach.
Do you know your A to Z of seaside life? We do and we’ve made it into this personalised art print. We can’t tell you how long it took for us to think of something for the letter Z but then it came to us! Catching a few z’s on the beach has to be one of the nicest things in the world. Living where we do, you’re never far from someone’s beloved boat and it got us thinking.. We’ve been drawing customer’s much loved homes, pets and cars from their photographs for a few years now so why not boats? If you know a keen sailor, an illustration of their pride & joy will be something they’ll treasure forever. For more information on our Personalised Boat Illustration gifts click here.
Coastal scenes look fantastic in our My Favourite Place Personalised Illustrations. Hand drawn by our artists from your photo, this is a special way of remembering a wonderful holiday. It could be the view from your balcony or the beach where you spent lazy days in the sea. Personalise by adding a message, place name or date to the portrait.
If you’re heading to the coast this summer, our engraved pebble gifts are are the perfect reminder of a holiday spent by the sea. Engraved with names, dates, messages, and even co-ordinates of favourite places, they’re unique mementoes.
